Buddelmeyer on dean’s list

More than 2,400 students at Coastal Carolina University were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2018 semester. That’s more than 23 percent of the student body earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Among those students earning a spot on the dean’s list was Sarah Buddelmeyer, an interdisciplinary studies major from Leesburg.

Coastal Carolina University is a dynamic, public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, just minutes from the resort area of Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Chisman on dean’s list

Ohio Dominican University has named Shelby Chisman of Lynchburg to its fall semester 2018 dean’s list. In order to make the dean’s list, full-time undergraduate students must have achieved a 3.5 GPA or better after taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Ohio Dominican University is a comprehensive, four-year, private, liberal arts and master’s institution, founded in 1911 in the Catholic and Dominican tradition by the Dominican Sisters of Peace.

Newton graduates from Troy

Jeffrey Newton, of Hiillsboro, graduated from Troy University during the fall semester/term 2 of the 2018-19 academic year. Newton graduated with the Associate of Science in General Education degree.

Ohio Northern Dean’s List

The following students from Highland County were named to the dean’s list for the fall semester 2018-19 at Ohio Northern University. To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and be enrolled full-time: Ashleigh Baucom from Hillsboro, Quintin Smith from Lynchburg-Clay and Madison Snyder from Hillsboro.
