Adena Health System has announced that Dr. Arnold Good as its new chief of cardiology.

Good brings with him more than 30 years of experience in interventional cardiology, most recently at OhioHealth’s Grant Medical Center.

“I was at a point in my career and my personal life where I was looking for the opportunity to make an impact,” said Good. “I hope to bring some of my knowledge, skill and experience to this community; as well as delivering new services and technology to Adena, so patients in South Central Ohio will not need to travel outside the region for the high quality care they deserve.”

In his new role, Good will provide leadership and expertise for Adena’s cardiology service line with a focus toward new initiatives. He will also work with caregivers, leaders and other disciplines across the health system to identify and implement evidenced-based practices, facilitate mentoring and provider development strategies.

“This is a great next step for me,” Good added. “I believe Adena is also ready to take the next step in its medical story, and I am very thankful and excited to be a part of that.”

Eager to begin his new role, Good looks forward to building relationships within the community, Adena Health System, and forming bonds with his patients.
