Hillsboro FFA closes out another year

0

The Hillsboro FFA Chapter recently held its annual banquet at Hillsboro High School. The banquet shows all the activities the FFA members have completed in the previous year. All the members were recognized for their participation and accomplishments.

They thanked their supporters over the past year, recognized every grade, announced kids that have done CDEs, career development events ranging from ag sales to livestock judging and soils. They also announced kids that have received a proficiency award, which is how well kids keep track of their supervised agriculture experience (SAE).

Each year the Hillsboro FFA Chapter has a honorary membership degree for someone that has helped throughout multiple years. This year’s recipient was Jeff Parry. Thechapter also recognized the new upcoming chapter officers.

In conclusion, the Hillsboro FFA Chapter would like to once again thank all the supporters of this past year and would like to thank everyone that attended to congratulate all of the members and their accomplishments.

Submitted Jordan Williamson, Hillsboro FFA.
