Grover, Hamilton exhibit lambs

0

The Hillsboro FFA chapter exhibited many different things at the Highland County Fair. One of the species exhibited was market lambs.

Two Hillsboro FFA members exhibiting lambs this year were Lana Grover and Hillary Hamilton, both of which exhibited other species at the fair also. Along with her lambs, Grover shows pigs, goats and cattle. Hamilton also shows goats and cattle. Both are on Junior Fairboard, so their fair week was full.

At home, they members worked hard with all of their animals from feeding and watering, to walking and washing them.

Hamilton will be receiving her American FFA Degree in October this year, which recognizes her Supervised Agricultural Education projects as well as FFA involvement.

For Grover, her project started at the beginning of the year. She raises and breeds her own lambs every year and also raises her own cattle and goats.

The Hillsboro FFA Chapter is so proud of our exhibitors at the Highland County Fair. It is especially proud of these two individuals as they go above and beyond what is expected of them. Their hard work throughout the summer really shows their love of the livestock industry and the agricultural industry.
