Hillsboro FFA members exhibit rabbits

0

This year at the 2020 Highland County Fair, members of the Hillsboro FFA Chapter participated in the market and breeding rabbit shows. These individuals put in hard work and dedication for months before the fair to have projects ready for show day. Each member that exhibits in the Highland County Fair learns responsibility, leadership skills and perseverance.

Hillsboro FFA members who exhibited show rabbits this year included Allie Crago, who placed third in her age division for showmanship, first in two of her classes for breeding rabbits, won Reserve Grand Champion in her doe and litter 6-8 class, and placed first in one of her market rabbit classes and fifth in the other class.

“I had a great time at the 2020 Highland County Fair and I can’t wait to show next year,” Crago said.

Addie Miles placed third in showmanship and fourth and seventh in the market show.

Hunter Davidson placed seventh with both of his rabbits and also participated in showmanship.

Hillsboro middle school ag student Chloe Broyles had market rabbits and New Zealand breeding rabbits.

Even though this year was different from previous years, Hillsboro FFA members had fun and made the fair a memorable experience.
