Greenfield Village Council

Greenfield Village Council will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2 to hear a request from property owner Kellis Smith regarding the notice of condemnation on properties he owns at 631 South St., 637 South St., 647 South St. and 637 1\2 South St. The meeting will be held in council chambers at City Hall.

Hillsboro VFW Post 9094 has cancelled its Dec. 5 fish fry due to COVID-19.

Historical Christmas Tea

The Highland County Historical Society will hold its 2020 Mother/Daughter Christmas Tea at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6 at the Scott House, 338 W. Main St., Hillsboro. Seating is limited. The cost is $10 per child and $10 per mother. To make a reservation call 937-393-3392 by Dec. 1. Girls must be 5 years of age or older.

Knights of Pythias Christmas

Knights of Pythias Lodge 696, 1879 SR 73 in Belfast, will hold its 35th annual Christmas Party Saturday, Dec. 19. Festivities begin at 5:45 p.m., dinner is at 6:15 p.m. and Santa arrives at 7:30 p.m. Face masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
