Lynchburg Three Arts Club

The Lynchburg Three Arts Club met at the home of Nancy Lippert for its March 23 meeting. The only previous meeting for the year had been outdoors at the home of Doris Randolph.

The president called the meeting to order by having the secretary, Colleen Mount, call the roll. She also read the minutes of the last meeting. The treasurer, Becky Davidson, gave her report. Where and when to have the annual dinner meeting was discussed. It was decided to try and have it at a golf course if possible and to leave it up to the hostess if that were not possible.

The meeting was adjourned to a discussion of the book for the year, a novel titled “The Dutch House” by Ann Patchett. It was an interesting book that delved into the psychological aspect. The discussion was enjoyed by all, especially as it had been so long since some of of the members had read it.

A delicious dessert course was enjoyed by Becky Davidson, Nancy Lippert, Denise Kuntz, Colleen Mount, Ellen Pennington and Nancy Shaffer.
