Chris and Jackie Hopkins of Hillsboro have announced the marriage of their daughter, Kristy Hopkins of Hillsboro, to Tyler Rhodes of Hillsboro, the son of Tom and Tammy Rhodes of Hillsboro. The bride to be graduated from Hillsboro High School in 2012 and Southern State Community College in 2016 with an associate’s degree of applied science in early childhood education and will be employed at Hillsboro Christian Academy. The groom-to-be graduated from Hillsboro High School in 2009 and Southern State in 2012 with an associate of arts degree, will be graduating from Liberty University in August with a degree in special education and is currently employed at the Hillsboro Christian Academy. The day of unity in marriage will be July 23, 2016. The couple will reside in Hillsboro.
