On July 16, 2016, a birthday celebration for Wilbur Penix, who turned 100 years old the day before on July 15, was held.

Penix is a resident of the Laurels of Hillsboro facility and numerous friends and family members gathered together to help Wilbur celebrate his milestone.

A fantastic fellowship was enjoyed by everyone. Penix and his family want to thank thank the staff at the facility of the Laurels of Hillsboro for everything that was done for this celebration and especially the staff in the kitchen for all their help.

Also, Penix and his family would like to send out a very special thank you to everyone who attended this celebration and for making Penix’s 100th birthday so very special.
