Hillsboro FFA wraps up fruit sale

0

The Hillsboro FFA chapter wrapped up its annual fruit sale. This year the students were asked to sell around $300 worth of fruit. The selection of items were Ohio apples, Florida oranges, Florida Farm Bureau Peanuts, D.B. Yummers BBQ sauce, and a selection of meat and cheese. A new item this year the FFA offered was Halo clementines. The clementines were a huge success and the FFA plans on selling them in the future. The fruit sale is the biggest fundraiser that the FFA does each year and with the money they are able to cut the cost of activates they do within the FFA such as conventions and camps. Pictured is show some of the fruit options the FFA offered this year.
