The executive team at First State Bank has announced that Andrea White has joined the company and will serve as the banking center manager of the Hillsboro location. In addition, Amy Hamilton has been named commercial and agricultural loan officer.

White graduated from Miami Trace High School and attended Southern State Community College. A longtime resident of Highland County, she is a recent addition to the First State Bank team. She brings 16 years of financial experience to her role as banking center manager in Hillsboro. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and attending her children’s sporting events.

A Whiteoak graduate, Hamilton earned degrees in applied business and associates of accounting from Southern State Community College. She has been with the company for the past eight years. In early 2012, she was named manager of the Hillsboro Banking Center and helped lead efforts for its official opening in May 2013.

In 2015, she was named commercial and agricultural loan officer, a role where she can focus on lending in Highland, Fayette and Clinton counties and surrounding areas. Hamilton currently serves on the Highland County Farm Bureau Board and enjoys working with her husband on their Highland County farm and spending time with friends and family.

“We are really excited about the leadership and talent we have in place in Highland County”, said Mike Pell, president and CEO of First State Bank. “Andrea brings a substantial amount of banking experience to her role and Amy is thrilled to be focusing on commercial and agricultural lending in the community and surrounding areas.”
