FSB announces promotions, additions

The executive team at First State Bank has announced three recent promotions among the management team.

Chad Wilson has been named vice president and will serve as part of the executive team and continue to oversee commercial lending. Daniel Ferguson has been named assistant vice president and will continue to serve in his role of information technology manager. Bradley K. Jones has been named assistant vice president and will continue to serve in his role of credit manager. Dee Fitzpatrick will be joining the commercial lending group where she will oversee all commercial loan underwriting as commercial credit analyst.

Wilson graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in finance. He has been with First State Bank since 2008 and since that time has led the business development division which includes client relationships, loan production, deposits, merchant services and all other banking products. In 2014, he was named commercial banking manager. In his spare time, Wilson enjoys spending time with his family, anything sports-related and being active in his church.

Ferguson has an associate’s degree in computer information technology and is also a certified professional in CompTIA A plus and CompTIA Network plus. An employee since 2006, Ferguson brought more than 15 years of experience to his role of Information technology manager. He oversees all company networks and telecommunication systems across multiple geographic locations and also enhances customer service through continual technological advancements. In his free time he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and kids, target shooting and hunting. He is also an avid sports fan, enjoying both football and ice hockey.

Jones is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor of science in business administration degree and a major in accounting. Joining First State Bank in 2007, Jones brought more than 20 years of banking experience to his role as credit manager. In 2015, Jones graduated from the Bank Leadership Institute at the Ohio Bankers League. In his spare time, Bradley enjoys coaching soccer and basketball and being an active member of his church.

Fitzpatrick attended Southern State Community College and joined the First State Bank team in 2001. Over the years, Fitzpatrick has worked as a customer service representative, office manager and loan officer. For the past four years, she has served as the West Union Banking Center manager. In 2016, she was named Commercial Credit Analyst, where she will work with Wilson and be responsible for all commercial loan underwriting. Fitzpatrick is a graduate of Leadership Adams. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, any outdoor activity and reading.
