The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

Jan. 19

On Thursday, Jan. 17 at 3:08 p.m. the police department responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 200 block of Harry Sauner Road. Tanner Pinto, 18, of Winchester, was westbound on Harry Sauner Road when his vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Chloe Fraley, 27, of Hillsboro, in the rear causing Fraley’s vehicle to strike the rear of the vehicle in front of her driven by Beverly Dennison, 61, of Peebles. Pinto was cited for assured clear distance ahead and expired plates.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Brian R. Snyder Jr., 33, of Bainbridge, was arrested for failure to appear.

Dresan S. Mathis, 21, of Columbus, was arrested for criminal damaging.

The police department reported weekday statistics from Jan. 11-15 as follows: 158 calls, three 911 calls, five offense reports, four traffic accidents, 15 arrests and 115 security checks.

The weekend statistics from Jan. 15 at 4 p.m. until midnight Jan. 17 were as follows: 136 calls, one 911 call, one traffic accident, seven arrests and 73 security checks.
