A 28-year-old Hillsboro man who previously admitted to probation violations was ordered this week to successfully complete the STAR program.
Jeremy W. Boyd in a June notification hearing waived his right to have an attorney and admitted to probation violations that included testing positive for drugs multiple times, not reporting contact with law enforcement, and failing to complete previously ordered treatment.
Boyd was initially sentenced to community control just over a year ago after he pled guilty to fourth-degree felony trafficking in drugs.
Ricky Allen Jones, 19, Greenfield, on fifth-degree felony breaking and entering, was recently sentenced to three years of community control. He was also ordered to obtain his GED and to seek employment.
Zachary A. Campbell, 26, Greenfield, pled guilty to unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a third-degree felony.
According to the indictment filed in May, the offense involved a 13-year-old.
Campbell’s sentencing is set for August. According to the plea agreement, the state and defense will argue sentencing, and Campbell will be required to register as a Tier II sex offender.
