Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Highland County Highway Maintenance Facility are scheduled to replace a culvert on SR 247 next week, requiring a nine-day closure of the route.

On Monday, Nov. 21, SR 247 will be closed between SR 785 and Peach Orchard Road while crews replace a deteriorated pipe at the 3.8-mile marker.

The project site is located just north of Walker Road and the community of Fairfax, and the closure is scheduled to be in effect through Tuesday, Nov. 29.

While SR 247 is closed, motorists will be detoured via SR 785 and SR 73.
