Minor injuries in rollover crash

A Hillsboro woman avoided serious injuries Wednesday when she rolled a van on SR 138 southwest of Hillsboro near Abernathy Road.

Teresa Nace, 42, was traveling northeast on SR 138 a little before 1 p.m. when she drove off the right side of the road, overcorrected, came back across the road, overturned on the road, and went off the right side of the road into a ditch and then a field, according to the Wilmington Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Emergency personnel at the scene said Nace received minor injuries and was transported by the Lynchburg Area Joint Fire and Ambulance District to Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.

The state patrol said the accident is still under investigation, but that alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the accident.
