The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the rear parking lot of Adena Local Schools, 3367 Co. Rd. 550, Frankfort.

The district would like to publicly thank Superintendent Balzer and the Adena Local School Board for allowing the district to utilize their parking lot for this event.

The event is available to residents in Ross, Pickaway, Highland and Fayette counties. Bring a drivers’ license or current utility bill to establish your county of residency.

No waste will be accepted from commercial or industrial businesses.

Acceptable items include oil based paints and stains (latex and water based paints are acceptable, however there will be a charge of $1 per gallon per quart can and $5 per five-gallon bucket), polishes, turpentine, thinners, paint stripper, motor oil, kerosene, old gasoline, gasoline mixed with oil, spray paints, lighter fluid, propane and helium cylinders, oxygen tanks, cyanides, pool chemicals, acids and caustics, bleach and household cleaners, all fluorescent light bulbs (including compact fluorescent bulbs), ballasts, lawn chemicals and fertilizers, fire extinguishers, poisons, insecticides, antifreeze, all batteries (including alkaline, computer, vehicle and others), smoke detectors, thermostats and thermometers containing mercury.
