West marks 50 years with Legion

West is a Korean War veteran, retired state superintendent with the Ohio Department of Transportation, and currently helps his sons farm in the Mowrystown area. The Mowrystown American Legion has nearly doubled its membership in recent months, is meeting more regularly, and is becoming more active in the community.
