The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

Nov. 1

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Christopher R. Sanfrey, 27, of Wilmington, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

James E. Wright, 48, of Hillsboro, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Tina Worley, 59, of Hillsboro, was issued a citation for possession of marijuana.

Delbert Fent, 68, of Hillsboro, was issued a citation for possession of marijuana.

Jason Wallace, 45, of Hillsboro, was issued a citation for public pntoxication.

ACCIDENT

At 12:59 p.m., the police department responded to the area of North West Street and Fenner Avenue for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, Darin Conrad, 45, of Clarksville, was stopped in traffic southbound on North West Street. Haley Sturdivan, 19, of Hillsboro, was traveling directly behind Conrad and failed to maintain assured clear distance ahead. As a result, Sturdivan’s vehicle struck Conrad’s vehicle in a rear-end type collision. Minor injuries were reported on scene. Sturdivan was found to not have financial responsibility and was also issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead, and her vehicle was towed from the scene.

Nov. 2

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Kristi Assange, 55, of Hillsboro, was arrested on an outstanding theft charge.

Nathaniel Lock, 19, of Hillsboro, was issued a citation for fictitious plates.

ACCIDENTS

At 12:19 p.m., the police department responded to Harry Sauner Road in the area of North High Street for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, Michelle Everett-Tracey, 44, of Glouster, was stopped in traffic eastbound on Harry Sauner Road when Connie Bailey, 56, of Peebles, failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead and struck Everett-Tracey’s vehicle in a rear-end type collision. No injuries were reported on scene. Bailey was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead.

At 6:05 p.m., the police department responded to North West Street in the area of Harry Sauner Road for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, Ciara Peterson, 26, of Hillsboro, and Carl Eury, 64, of Hillsboro, were both traveling north on North West Street. Peterson was stopped in traffic behind Eury when her vehicle rolled forward and struck Eury in a rear-end type collision. No injuries were reported on scene. Peterson was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead.

Nov. 3

ACCIDENT

At 12:43 p.m., the police department responded to the area of the five-way light for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, Daniel Lightner, 58, of Seaman, was traveling southbound on South East Street near the intersection of Muntz Street. Hailey McClure, 20, of Hillsboro, was traveling northbound on Belfast Pike through the intersection when Lightner failed to obey traffic control device, causing his vehicle to strike McClure’ vehicle. No injuries were reported on the scene. Lightner was issued a citation for failure to obey a traffic control device, and McClure was issued a citation for failure to reinstate driver’s license.
