The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Chad A. Hibbs, 40, of New Vienna, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with obstructing official business.

Jessica Lovely, 28, of Hillsboro, was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Brittany M. Long, 29, of New Vienna, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Angel M. Ballein, 40, of Hillsboro, was arrested for theft.

Seth L. Edenier, 33, of Hillsboro, was cited for no operator’s license.

ACCIDENT

At 8:06 a.m., the police department responded to the area of East Main Street near Curtis Lane for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival it was determined that Noah Eaton, 20, of Hillsboro, and Angela Hungler, 24, of Lynchburg, were both traveling eastbound on East Main Street near Curtis Lane. Hungler was making a left turn into a private drive when Eaton failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead causing his vehicle not to be able to stop in time and strike Hungler’s vehicle in a rear-end type collision. No injuries were reported on scene.
