Members of the Hillsboro Towne Club recently got together at New Vienna’s Field of Dreams art studio for what member Patsy Holthouse called a “Paint-n-Party” that was planned by fellow member Karyn Evans, under the guidance of studio owner Letty Allen. Holding their works of art called “Nice Little Snowmen” are (front row, l-r) Marilyn Mathews, Patsy Holthouse, Caroline Siemers and Ann Lerch; (back row, l-r) Siobhan Smith, Karyn Evans, Vicki Smith, Carol Terrell and Karen Daniels. Club members also decorated a tree at Highland House Museum in Hillsboro, and Holthouse encouraged everyone to visit the museum gift shop to find handcrafted and unusual gifts created by local artists, books by local artists and more during the Christmas season.
