Waw-Wil-A-Way DAR chapter celebrates 125 years

In observance of the Hillsboro Waw-Wil-A-Way chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution coming into existence on March 19, 1895, Hillsboro Mayor Justin Harsha issued a proclamation Monday declaring March to be the 125th anniversary of Waw-Wil-A-Way Chapter of NSDAR Month in the city of Hillsboro. Attending the ceremony were, from left, Harsha, organization regent Jane Stower, new member Vicki Knauff, chaplain Janet Florence and vice regent Elissa Zornes.
