Keeping the health and safety of its members, employees and the communities it serves at the forefront, Highland County Water Company General Manager Hattie Lovedahl said the annual meeting of members scheduled for Thursday, April 9 at 7 p.m. at the Hillsboro main office has been postponed.

The postponement is due to the company observing guidelines put forth by state and local health officials, and Gov. Mike DeWine’s recent directive limiting the number of people in a public gathering to curtail the spread of the coronavirus.

She said that the annual members meeting is tentatively rescheduled for Thursday, Aug. 13 at 7 p.m. at the main office, and that a new notice of meeting reminder will be sent out that will include a new proxy reflecting the new date of the meeting.
