During these difficult times, the Bright Local School District is setting tentative dates for registration for both preschool and kindergarten. Be aware that these dates may be subject to change based on any news forthcoming regarding the COVID 19 virus.

Bright Local Elementary will be providing enrollment packets for the 2020-21 school year.

The four packets will be for:

1.) Potential new preschool students;

2.) Current preschool students who are returning to preschool;

3.) Students transitioning from Bright preschool to kindergarten;

4.) Kindergarten students who are new to the district.

The packets will be available to be picked up at Bright Elementary on Wednesday, May 20. There will be staff members stationed at the covered front entryway between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. that day to hand out the registration packets. Open enrollment forms will also be available.

The completed packets will then need to be returned to Bright Elementary the same way on Wednesday, June 3, also between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. At that time, it will be possible to come to the office window if you need a paper copied.

If you have concerns that your child may have special needs, Lisa Beresford will be available during these times.

The kindergarten screening and the preschool playdate will be scheduled later before the start of the 2020-21 school year.

Class lists will be determined before the start of the school year.
