The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

July 10

INCIDENT

At approximately 7:39 a.m., the police department responded to the 700 block of North West Street in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers met with a male and a female who were involved in a verbal altercation who were later identified as Breawna Knight, 20, of Hillsboro, and Joshua Obert, 23, of Lynchburg. Both subjects were issued citations for disorderly conduct.

July 11

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

James Hurst, 63, of Leesburg, was cited for speed.

Melissa Barrett, 46, of Mt. Sterling, was cited for speed.

Bruce Grooms, 28, of Leesburg, was arrested for OVI and cited for turn signal required.

Candace James, 21, of Leesburg, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Candice Willey, 24, of Hillsboro, was cited for no operator’s license.
