The Highland County Sheriff’s Office has released the following information:

Aug. 30

INCIDENT

A resident of the 9200 block of West Deadfall Road advised a person was trespassing on their property. After investigation, it was determined that the incident was the result of a custody incident.

ARREST/CITATION

Ralph Morrison, 60, of Columbus, charged with failure to comply, resisting arrest and criminal damaging.

Aug. 31

INCIDENT

A female came to the sheriff’s office to report an incident of road rage in the 8500 block of U.S. Route 62. This incident remains under investigation.

Sept. 1

INCIDENTS

A resident of the 8800 block of Worley Mill Road reported the theft of a wedding ring. This incident remains under investigation.

A deputy responded to the 10000 block of Hiawatha Drive after a call of a camper being damaged. This incident remains under investigation.

A resident of the 5900 block of Maple Drive reported identity theft.
