The Hillsboro City Schools hold kindergarten registration Thursday, June 9.

Children living in the Hillsboro City School District who will be 5 years of age on or before Aug. 1 are eligible to enroll in kindergarten. Children who will be 6 years of age on or before Aug. 1 must be enrolled in school under Ohio law.

The online registration process is available starting April 8 with entering all information into Final Forms prior to June 9. Go to the school district’s website at www.hcs-k12.org and then click Final Forms to get started.

Documents needed are: Certified copy of the child’s birth certificate, child’s Social Security number; proof of residency (bill with name and address); parents’ driver’s license; custody papers if applicable.

If you are unable to complete the online forms prior to registration, bring all documentation, including shot records and custody paperwork, to registration.

In person registration will be held at the Hillsboro Elementary School. Every student should attend accompanied by one adult on Thursday, June 9 from 9-11:30 a.m. for last name beginning with A-L and 1-3:30 p.m. for last names beginning with M-Z.
