The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Ivan McClure, 23, of Hillsboro, was cited for failure to reinstate.

Michael Wilham, 20, of Cincinnati, was cited for driving under suspension and fail to display plates.

ACCIDENT

At approximately 7:04 p.m., the police department responded to the area of South High Street at Uhrig Street for a report of a two-vehicle crash. Upon arrival it was determined that Emily Newman, 29, of Hillsboro, was stationary in a vehicle on South High Street waiting to turn left into a business parking lot when a vehicle driven by Ricky Edison, 66, of Hillsboro, failed to brake and struck Newman in a rear-end type collision. No injuries were reported on the scene. Edison was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
