No damage at Hillsboro Post Office

The Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire District was dispatched around 10 p.m. Sunday to the Hillsboro Post Office at 301 N. High St. for a report of a fire alarm and light smoke in the building.

A Paint Creek spokesperson said the smoke was coming from a blower motor on the HVAC unit.

There was no damage to the building and no injuries were reported, according to the spokesperson.
