The Highland County Sheriff’s Office has released the following information:

Oct. 16

INCIDENT

A business in the 5800 block of West New Market Road reported that a female attempted to pass counterfeit $20 bills. The female left the business prior to a deputy arriving. This incident remains under investigation.

Oct. 17

INCIDENT

A deputy responded to the 10000 block of Mad River Road to a report of an unoccupied residence that was vandalized. This incident remains under investigation.

Oct. 18

INCIDENT

A resident of the 6600 block of Fascination Way reported someone used her identity to open several credit accounts. This incident remains under investigation.

Oct. 19

INCIDENTS

A resident of the 5900 block of Cherry Lane reported the unauthorized use of his vehicle. Charges are pending.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Deputies responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the 6600 block of Pirate Cove Court. After investigation, Eric W. Snyder, 47, Hillsboro, was charged with domestic violence.

David R. Lunsford, 52, Hillsboro, was cited for operating a vehicle without a license.

Brandi N. Gilkison, 37, Wilmington, was cited for speeding.

Arrest: Tyler L Isaac, 28, Sabina, failure to appear.
