The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

Dec. 6

ACCIDENT

Berten Keen, 78, of Winchester, was stopped on North High Street at the intersection of Harry Sauner Road. Keen began backing his vehicle to make room for a large tractor trailer coming through the intersection and backed into a vehicle driven by Raelynn Ruble, 19, of Hillsboro. Ruble was stationary behind Keen’s vehicle. Minor damage was reported to Ruble’s 2018 Ford Fusion. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

INCIDENT

A business in the 100 block of East Main Street reported a theft of gas. A male had pumped gas into a vehicle and left the business without paying. A report was taken and investigation is pending.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Timmy Howard, 26, of Hillsboro, was arrested for obstructing official business and failure to appear on a bench warrant.

Nou Chi Vang, 23, of Minnesota, was cited for speed and no drive’s license.

Amy Roades, 44, of Hillsboro, was cited for an improper turn.

Devin Mays, 20, of Georgetown, was cited for speed.
