The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Joseph Brown, 32, of Hillsboro, was cited for failure to file application for registration.

Samuel Holaday, 27, old of Hillsboro, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

INCIDENT/ARREST

At approximately 10:33 a.m., the police department responded to the 800 block of West Main Street for a report of an unresponsive female. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a Crystal Sturgill, 43, of New Vienna, who was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and transported to the Highland County Justice Center.

INCIDENT/ARREST

At approximately 8:45 p.m., the police department responded to the 700 block of North West Street for a report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a with a John Plummer, 43, of Hillsboro. After further investigation, Plummer was arrested for assault and transported to the Highland County Justice Center.

ACCIDENT

At approximately 5:57 a.m., the police department responded to the 100 block of South High Street for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival it was determined that Billy McClain, 42, of Hillsboro, was in the alley in the 100 block of South High Street when another vehicle was parked in the parking lot of a nearby business. McClain’s vehicle struck the parked vehicle and he was cited for driving under suspension.
