Five Hillsboro FFA members attended the Ohio Leadership Conference (OLC) in Carrolton earlier this summer.
During the camp FFA members, along with Farm Bureau members, learned how to better themselves with leadership skills. All members had the chance to meet many new people all throughout Ohio, and had time to get to know the Ohio FFA officers.
The 360 conference was taught at OLC, which is provided by National FFA. The 360 conference takes participants in a full circle of leadership skills. FFA camp is a wonderful experience.
Also, during the week of June 27 thru July 1, 15 FFA members attended the fourth general session of Ohio FFA camp Muskingum. They had a similar experience to OLC, but the main difference was that students had more free time to participate in water games, sports activities, and talk to other FFA members throughout Ohio.
Students from Lynchburg-Clay, Fairfield, and Whiteoak high schools all traveled on the bus with Hillsboro to Carrolton County.
