The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

April 24

ACCIDENT

The police department responded to a call of a crash in the 200 block of North High Street. Grace Ramsey, 21, of Hillsboro, was traveling southbound on North High Street when she failed to stop in time for stationary traffic. Amber Hampton, 35, of Leesburg, was stopped in traffic when her vehicle was struck from behind causing functional damage to her 2013 Ford, while Ramsey’s 2003 Buick received disabling damage. Ramsey was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Jessica Eidenier, 27, of Hillsboro, was cited for failure to register vehicle registration.

Robert Coil, 20, of Lynchburg, was arrested for unlawful attempt to purchase pseudoephedrine product.

Anthony Cox, 27, of Sinking Spring, was arrested on two failure to appear bench warrants and for obstructing official business.

Brittany Caplinger, 29, of Leesburg, was arrested on a failure to appear bench warrant.

Kristin Brock, 30 of Hillsboro, was arrested for Attempt Illegal Pseudo Purchase

Chawndra Shaffer, 35 of Hillsboro, was cited for Expired Tags

Brent Mcelwee, 42 of Wilmington, was cited for ACDA

Christopher Daniels, 33 of Hillsboro, was cited for Driving Under Suspension
