The Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc. (HCCAO) will host their 9th Annual Golf Outing on Friday, Aug. 28 at Buckeye Hills Country Club located at 7261 Limes Road in Greenfield.
Registration will open at 11a.m. Shotgun scramble time is 1 p.m.
Registration fees include the greens fee for 18 holes of golf on the beautiful course, a cart, and a lunch provided by All Seasons Catering.
Prizes will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place teams and to the most honest. Great door prizes are also going to be given away. Golfers who participate will also win the satisfaction of knowing all proceeds will go back to the organization to help support those being served in Highland County.
“Our agency provides services in a wide variety of areas to help the residents of Highland County. Some programs are offered only specific times of the year and others come and go,” said Julia Wise, director of HCCAO.
“During these difficult economic times, many people may have to turn to our organization for assistance for the very first time. In 2013, we helped over 4,000 families in Highland County,” said Wise.
