The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

July 24

ARRESTS

Stephen Clemons, 59, Hillsboro, was arrested for passing bad checks.

Kathy Kellough, 46, Bainbridge, was arrested for unlawful purchase of pseudoephedrine product.

Prince McLean, 31, Lynchburg, was arrested for illegal processing of drug documents.

July 25

ACCIDENT

Sara Stone, 31, Lexington, Ky., was traveling south on North High Street and had slowed for the traffic ahead of her. Johnathan Hester, 29, Hillsboro, was traveling behind Stone. Hester was unable to slow down in time, and swerved left into the turning lane, side swiping Stone’s vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage, and no injuries were reported. Hester was cited for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
