The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

STATISTICS

The statistics for the week beginning Monday, Aug.14, through Sunday, Aug. 20 are as follows: The police department received 425 calls (14 – 911) investigated 11 crashes, took 12 offense reports, made 19 arrests, and completed 119 security checks.

Aug. 18

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Terry Swiger, 35, of Hillsboro, was arrested on a failure to appear bench warrant.

Ryan Poole, 25, of New Vienna, was arrested on a failure to appear bench warrant.

Brandon Doughman, 37, of Batavia, was arrested for child endangering.

Aug. 20

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Jared Brock, 20, of Winchester, was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

Jesse Rader, 34, of Hillsboro, was arrested on two counts of child endangering.
