The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

Oct. 20

INCIDENT

At 1:11 p.m. an officer was on patrol when he observed a female inhaling a can of duster in the 600 block of North High Street. After further investigation, Kaitlin Pangallo, 23, of Cincinnati, was charged with abusing harmful intoxicants and was transported to the Highland County Jail.

Oct. 21

ACCIDENT

At 2:04 p.m., the police department responded to the area of North High Street and Northview Drive for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, Ronald Hodge Jr., of Sardinia, was stopped in traffic northbound on North High Street and Daniel Neal, of Fayetteville, was traveling the same direction directly behind Hodge’s vehicle when Neal failed to maintain assured clear distance ahead and struck the rear of Hodge’s vehicle. No injuries were reported on scene. Neal was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
