The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:
Tina M. Ashley, 41, of Lynchburg, citation for driving under suspension.
Brandon Scott Curtis, 22, of New Vienna, bench warrant.
James Russell Byers, 32, of Columbus, bench warrant.
A 11:55 p.m., the police department responded to neighbor dispute in the 400 block of North High Street. Upon officer arrival it was found that two persons were having a dispute over noise complaints. Joyce Dragon, 37, of Hillsboro, and Jonathon Zuniga, 27, of Hillsboro, were both issued disorderly conduct citations.
At 2:58 p.m., the police department responded to a crash in the 1400 block of North High Street. Upon officer arrival a female identified herself as being the driver of the vehicle in the crash. Witnesses of this crash later identified a male juvenile who was seated in the back seat of the vehicle as being the driver. Officers reviewed security camera footage at a business that captured the juvenile male in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. The female, Saleena Marie Francis, 18, of Leesburg, later admitted to being in the rear passenger seat and was attempting to mislead law enforcement to keep the male juvenile from getting a citation. Francis was arrested for obstructing official business and was transported to the Highland County Justice Center.
At 4:30 a.m., the police department responded to a residence in the 400 block of West Main Street. Upon officer arrival it was found that a male had removed items from the property without permission. The male was identified as a Jason Strunk, 42, of Hillsboro. Strunk was arrested, charged with theft and transported to the Highland County Justice Center.
James Reasoner III, 40, of Scabrook Island, S.C, citation for speed, 39 mph in a 20 mph zone.
George C. Coder, 31 of Leesburg, citation for speed 38 mph in a 25 mph zone.
Roger L. Robinson, 42, of Hillsboro, failure to appear bench warrant.
David E. Bailey, 34, of Hillsboro, failure to appear bench warrant.
Cody Lee Butler, 35, of Hillsboro, failure to appear bench warrant.
Benjamin A. Knisley, 18, of Greenfield, contributing to unruliness of a child.
