The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

Nov. 30

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

James Burks, 33, of Lynchburg, for open flask, reckless operation and no operator’s license.

Christopher Liming, 27, of Russellville, for driving under suspension.

ACCIDENTS

On Monday, Nov. 30 at 8:31 a.m. the police department responded to a motor vehicle crash. Marshall Thompson, 67, of Hillsboro, was eastbound on West Main Street and had slowed in traffic to make a left turn onto Taylor Court. Elizabeth A. Davis, 37, of Hillsboro, was traveling in the same direction directly behind Thompson. Davis failed to see Thompson had stopped and struck his vehicle. Davis was cited for driving with no license, assured clear distance and fictitious plates.

On Monday, Nov. 30 at 2:58 p.m. the police department responded to a motor vehicle crash. Sarah C. Mann, 61, of Hillsboro, was eastbound on Te-Mar Way. Gregory N. Reed, 23, of Mowrystown, was southbound on North High Street. Mann failed to stop at the stop sign on Te-Mar and traveled into the southbound lane of North High Street, striking the vehicle driven by Reed. Mann was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

James R. Lykins, 33, of Peebles, for failure to appear.

Tessa N. Dillon, 28, of Washington Court House, for domestic violence.

Christopher S. Karaffa, 31, of Hillsboro, for criminal trespass and unlawful purchase of pseudoephedrine product.

Neil E. Segovia, 28, of Hillsboro, for domestic violence, obstructing official business and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
