Sardinia man indicted on eight counts

A Sardinia area man has been indicted by a Brown County grand jury on several theft and burglary charges, according to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.

Chief Deputy Carl Smith said on Tuesday that indictments were issued on the last two members of the Carlier burglary ring, including 45-year-old Charles Glover of Sardinia.

Glover was indicted on three counts of burglary, two counts of safecracking, one count of grand theft of a firearm, one count of theft against a person in a protected class, and one count of theft. Glover is currently incarcerated at the Clermont County Detention Center.

Sherry Carlier, a 45-year-old female from the Mt. Orab area, was indicted on one count of burglary and one count of grand theft of a firearm. Carlier is currently incarcerated at the Butler County Detention Center.

Both subjects were part of the burglary ring that included Jeff Carlier and Brian Crank, the sheriff’s office said.
