April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

On Wednesday the Highland County Board of Commissioners proclaimed April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Each year as part of the awareness campaign the Alternatives to Violence Center holds the Tea for Tweens, Teens and Queens. This year the event is set for April 9 at Hillsboro High School. On hand for the proclamation were representatives of AVC.
