Pet of the Week; Mardi Growl Parade

0

This is Bruno…our “Gentle Giant.” He is a 2year-old Mastiff mix. He is good with kids and other dogs, but because he is not neutered is kind of bossy with the male dogs.

Bruno has unfortunately tested positive for heartworms. So, we are hoping to find a family or a rescue that is willing to have him treated.

Also, we want to invite the public to our Mardi Growl Parade on Saturday, May 14 from 10a a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Liberty Park in Hillsboro. We will be having a raffle, bake sale, food, vendors, grab bags and a photographer that will take a pictured of you and your dog. There is $20 registration that will include a T-Shirt, beads, bandana and a one-mile walk. You must register by May 6 to be guaranteed a T-Shirt.

The T-Shirts come in sizes from small to 3x large and in colors including green, violet and yellow. They may be viewed at www.facebook.com/highlandcountyhumanesociety.

Registration forms can be picked up at the Hillsboro Veterinary Hospital, 941 W. Main St., or the Highland County Humane Society at 9331 SR 124, east of Hillsboro. Registrations and $20 per participant can either dropped off or mailed to the Highland County Humane Society, P.O. Box 471, Hillsboro Ohio 45133.

For more information call 937-393-2110.
