SR 28 will be closed

Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation District 9 Highland County Maintenance Facility will undertake a culvert replacement project on SR 28 this month, requiring a weeklong closure of the route.

On Monday, June 13, crews will close SR 28 between Miami Trace Road and Collier Road, approximately two miles west of Greenfield, to replace a deteriorated culvert. The closure will go into effect at approximately 8 a.m. on June 13 and continue until 4 p.m. Friday, June 17, or until all work is completed. Completion of the project, however, will be contingent upon the weather.

While SR 28 is closed, motorists will be detoured via SR 138 at Greenfield and SR 771 at Leesburg.
