Local physicians, UnitedHealthcare have new relationship

Highland District Hospital’s Professional Services Corporation and Highland Health Providers have established a new network relationship with UnitedHealthcare, giving individual and employer-sponsored UnitedHealthcare plan participants access to all physicians within both Highland District Hospital’s Professional Services Corporation and Highland Health Providers.

UnitedHealthcare plan participants currently have in-network access to Highland District Hospital. This new relationship gives UnitedHealthcare members in-network access to physician services provided by Highland District Hospital’s Professional Services Corporation and Highland Health Providers.

Highland District Hospital’s Professional Services Corporation and Highland Health Providers are committed to improving access to quality care, improving clinical outcomes, lowering costs of care and creating a positive patient experience for Ohioans.

“We are delighted to establish a network relationship with UnitedHealthcare,” said Randy Lennartz, Highland District Hospital president and CEO. “By bringing our networks together, we can enhance and improve access to critical health services for more individuals and families served by UnitedHealthcare.”

UnitedHealthcare serves more than 1.3 million individual and employer-sponsored members and nearly 2.1 million people in Ohio in total, with a network of 255 hospitals and more than 47,000 physicians and other care providers statewide.
