Girl’s chorus will visit Leesburg Friends

0

The Faith and Light Mennonite Girl’s Chorus will be sharing their gospel message in song at the Leesburg Friends Church Sunday, April 8 at 10 a.m.

The girls in the chorus sing in close, a capella, three-part harmony as they enjoy sharing the gospel in music with their audiences.

The Leesburg Friends Church began in the early 1800s as the Leesburg Fairfield Meeting near the time the village of Leesburg was founded. The congregation met at the old meeting house location that is still standing near where the new Fairfield Local Schools are located today. In 1912, the congregation built the present church building in which the congregation worships and where the girl’s chorus will be appearing on April 8.

Pastor John Fitzgerald invites the public to hear these gospel singers.
