Smith has the testimony of an overcomer. In 1989, he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and later Crohn’s disease, which is considered to be an incurable chronic condition. Over the next nine years he was hospitalized four times. On two occasions his condition was so severe that he had to be fed directly to his heart through a tube.
During the course of his illness, he faced many challenging decisions. But by the wisdom and grace of God he was completely healed without surgery.
Today, Smith shares his testimony in churches with a variety of affiliations. Many have received physical healing through his ministry. He also has a special anointing for men’s ministry and to those who are discouraged. He has learned to live according to 1 Peter 5:7 which says, “Cast all your cares upon Him for He cares for you.” In Mike’s words, “God’s love shines the brightest when we’re at our lowest.”
If the trials of this life have dimmed your hope for the future, this testimony is for you.
FGBMFI is an arm of the church dedicated to bringing transformation to men through the power of the Holy Spirit. Chapter members and speakers come from all vocations and Christian affiliations. Ladies are welcome.
