Marshall signs with Earlham volleyball

Lynchburg-Clay High School senior Shelby Marshall has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Earlham College.

“Shelby has played an integral role in the success of the Lynchburg-Clay volleyball program,” said LCHS Athletic Director and volleyball coach Mark Faust. “The season before Shelby entered high school, the varsity team did not win any matches. In her four years, we won the Southern Hills Athletic League in 2015 and 2016 and won 17 games this past season. This past season, Shelby had a phenomenal year. She was one of the Southeast District leaders in kills with 345. She also added 78 service aces. We will definitely miss Shelby next year, but I wish her well at Earlham and look forward to watching her in college.”
