Hillsboro Lady Indians Basketball Camp
The Hillsboro Lady Indians Basketball Camp will be held June 5-8 in the Hillsboro High School gymnasium. Camp for girls entering grades 7-8 will be from 8:30-10:30 AM and camp for girls entering grades 3-6 will be from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The cost is $35 and includes instruction in the fundamentals of basketball related to individual and team play. Each player will also receive a camp t-shirt. Commitment Baseball School in June
Commitment Baseball School will have two sessions this summer. Session one will take place at Shaffer Park in Hillsboro, June 5-9. Session two will take place at Wilmington Williams Park from June 12-16. Time; 9am- 2pm. The camp is designed for boys and girls 6-14 yrs of age. Cost is $65 for pre-registration. $75 on site. McClain Tigers boys Basketball Camp
McClain High School will hold a basketball camp for boys entering grades 2-5 from 8:30-11:30am and for boys entering grades 6-8 from 12:00-3:00pm on June 12-15 in the McClain High School new gym. The price for campers will be $40. Highlights of the camp include a t-shirt and wristband, daily skill prizes, offensive/defensive instruction, fun and games, and team contests. HDH Foundation golf outing in June
The Highland District Hospital Foundation will host its annual golf outing Friday, June 16 at the Buckeye Hills Country Club, 7261 Limes Rd. Greenfield, OH 45123. Registration begins at 8 a.m. on the day, with tee off beginning at 9 a.m. The outing will include raffles, split-the-pot, awards and mulligans. All proceeds will benefit the GreatER Care Campaign. NVBC Basketball Camp 2017
The Nothview Baptist Church will be hosting their annual community basketball camp June 26th-29th from 8:30am to 11:30am at the Hillsboro Elementary School located at 500 US 62 Hillsboro, OH 45133. The camp will be free of charge and will be open to any student ages 5-12. The theme of this year’s camp is victory. To register please visit nvbchurch.org/register. Leesburg Lions’ 5k run and Pancake and Sausage Breakfast Saturday, June 10
The Leesburg Lions Club is sponsoring a “PANCAKE DASH” a Run-and-Eat event on Saturday morning, June 10. The morning begins with a 5K run, followed by a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast. Runners are to meet at the shelter house at the Leesburg Fire Department for registration at 7:30 a.m. and the run starts at 8:00 a.m. The fee for the run is $15 which includes a t-shirt for the first 50 registered runners.
An all-you-can-eat Pancake and Sausage Breakfast will be served at the Leesburg Fire Department Community Room from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. This will be a free will donation breakfast with the proceeds used for local projects and Kamp Dovetail. The menu will be pancakes, sausage, biscuits and beverages.
