On Tuesday the Hillsboro Indians golf team hosted the Chillicothe Cavaliers at the Elks Golf Course and came away with a 200 – 237 victory.

The Indians were led by match medalist Will Kiefer who had a 44, Gabe MyCroft who shot a 49, Gavin Puckett with a 42, and Hayden Miller who carded a 55 to help the Indians to victory.

Indians head coach Nathan Boatman is pleased with his team so far this season, “Our golfers are shooting lower than they have previously. They have been working on their game and it shows in the improvement they have made this season.”

The Lady Indians will have a lengthy break between matches as their next scheduled match is September 13 against FAC rival the Miami Trace Panthers at the Elks Golf Course in Hillsboro.

The boys’ team will travel to Jackson on Thursday night to take on the Ironmen in an FAC match-up.
